Mary Parker Follett (1868 – 1933), defined management as “the art of getting things done through people”.

Management is also defined as the act of directing and controlling a group of people for the purpose of coordinating and harmonizing the group towards accomplishing a goal beyond the scope of individual effort. Management encompasses the deployment and manipulation of human, financial, and natural resources.

Case Management has no single recognised definition and is interpreted in a multitude of ways within the Healthcare Industry and therefore it is difficult to compare the various forms of Case Management provided in the marketplace.

To this end we actively manage a case from an early point of an illness or injury (preferably before an employee is absent) and arrange early intervention wherever appropriate. We use both the NHS and the private sector to facilitate any necessary treatment.
