On occasions, a case may need to be referred to our Senior Complex Case Management Team. This would occur when, due to its complexity, the nature of the medical condition has wider occupational implications, such as a significant health and safety risk to the employee, other colleagues within the business or members of the public. This would also apply to any case that has the potential to result in an employer's liability or employment tribunal, a permanent health or incapacity assessment or vocational case management.
