Our FROG programme aims to rehabilitate participants who are struggling to return to normal activities or achieving their previous level of function following an episode of musculoskeletal pain. Often, these people may have been through a number of medical investigations and treatments, but have been unable to return to their previous levels of activity.
The programme uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles and is provided through the use of supervised exercise within a gym environment (behavioural component) and an education based information programme which helps people to understand and manage their pain more effectively (cognitive component). The program is delivered by a highly experienced multidisciplinary team including an Orthopaedic Physician, a physiotherapist specialising in Pain Management, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist specialising in Pain Management and a Fitness Instructor specialising in Rehabilitation.
